DO YOU WANT TO LEAD EFFECTIVE BIBLE STUDY DISCUSSIONS?

DURING THIS WORKSHOP YOU WILL:
- Participate in two discussions led by our Precept Training Team
- Learn to effectively use Leader Guides to lead fruitful discussions
- Have the opportunity to lead a full PUP discussion
- Be assessed and coached by our Precept Training Team
TO RECEIVE AN INVITATION, YOU MUST:
- Agree and Sign Precept’s doctrinal statement and Terms of Leadership. This affirms that we are aligned theologically.
- Provide a Pastoral Reference (contact information only). We will contact your pastor or ministry leader with a recommendation form asking them to affirm your qualifications as a leader and your status as a healthy, contributing member of the church. Your application is not complete until we receive the recommendation from your pastor.
- Select a Training If you cannot attend any of the training events, you may be able to work with a Precept Coach in your area to become a Leader.
- Check Your Email for an invitation from one of our staff. (This usually takes 1–2 weeks, although it can be delayed if your pastor is slow to respond.) You will provide additional when you accept the invitation.
SCHEDULE:
Each day of the training runs from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Eastern Time, with a break in the afternoon for lunch. Attendees are required to attend the entire training, so we do ask that you plan accordingly. As you prepare, here are a few details for you to note:
- Precept will provide all materials needed for the entirety of the training.
- Attendees are responsible to reserve and pay for their own lodging and travel arrangements during Precept Leader Training.
- Attendees are responsible for transportation to and from Precept’s campus.
- Attendees are responsible for their own meals during their stay.
